Getting to Metro

Try these Arlington Regional Transit (ART) bus options:

  • for either Clarendon or Ballston-MU metro
    ART route 62 via Lorcom Lane and Spout Run Parkway. Tjhere is no public transit option for direct connection to Virginia Square.
  • for Rosslyn metro
    ART Route 55 via Lee Highway

These routes provide a convenient way to reach the nearest metro stations during morning and afternoon rush hours.

Clarendon Metro

The Clarendon Metrorail station (Orange and Silver lines) provides easy access to entertainment and shopping on Wilson Boulevard.

Virginia Square Metro

The Virginia Square metro station is about a 25 minute walk or 7 minute bike ride from Maywood.

Ballston Metro

The Ballston metro station is steps from Ballston Common Mall and Marymount University

Rosslyn Metro

Central to business, shopping and eats, the Rossyln metro station is the first stop in Virginia for Orange, Silver and Blue Line trains and is a major stop for Metrobus Route 5A to Dulles International Airport. An Arlington County Commuter Store is also at the entrance of this station.

Bus

Metrobus route 3Y operates along Lee Highway with stops at the Rosslyn Metro and downtown Washington, D.C.
