I regularly scour Instagram to spotlight cool happenings, curious people, and interesting stuff throughout Arlington, Virginia. Here’s a rundown of a few great Instagram finds, including:
- The best of January’s snow pics
A Prancing Pup is a Happy Pup
Nothing is quite as cute as puppy having fun, but a puppy prancing in the snow? Precious. ?
Squealing and Sledding
Dogs are definitely not the only ones having fun in the snow in Arlington, VA. These kids are really embracing the spirit of “snow day”! ❄️
Dressed in Snow
When it snows, both amateur and professional photographers flock outdoors to capture the beauty. That is exactly what Sue Cromer did as well, resulting in this beautiful photo of a snow covered Air Force Memorial in Arlington, VA. Did you know the spires are 270 feet tall?
Retiring the Wreaths
In a previous edition of Arlington’s Instagram Style, I showed you individuals who volunteered their time to lay wreaths on graves in Arlington National Cemetery. This time, amidst the snow, it’s the wreaths being retired. It’s as much of a ritual as the laying of the wreaths, and again reminds us to honor and thank our military members, past and present.
That’s it for this Arlington Instagram go ’round!
