Everyone could use some animal snuggles, and the Animal Welfare League of Arlington makes sure you get your fill in by hosting and sponsoring numerous events, such as puppy and goat yoga! Beers for a Cause
Deciding if you want to introduce a new furry friend to your family, or wanting to find a way to help animals in need? Check out Pints for Puppies this Sunday, hosted by Project Second Chance. Project Second Chance rescues stray dogs from the streets of Puerto Rico and works to match them with their fur-ever home in the DMV area. Pints for Puppies is one of their great fundraising events, so make sure to stop by!
Vegan Sweets and Treats
Now that you have had your pint, maybe it’s time for some dessert. Head over to the Bakeshop in Clarendon this Sunday and grab some delightfully delicious vegan treats. With promises of cupcakes, pies, and holiday surprises, how could you not?
Cereal, Cartoons, and Brunch
Cravings still not met? Well with this event, you can have your sweets and drinks at the same time! Spoons, Toons, and Booze, hosted by Arlington Drafthouse, promises a good time with all the cereal you can eat, themed brunch drinks, and tons of Christmas cartoons to boot.
Bright Winter Lights
This festive event stretches along the Lee Highway in Arlington, taking place in four locations: the Lee Arts Center, Lee & Harrison Plaza, Langston Brown Community Center, and Cherrydale Historic Volunteer Fire Station. From 11:30 to 2:30 tomorrow, you can listen to holiday music, watch performers, find yummy food, take photos with Santa, and more, all underneath 10,000 sparkling lights.
